WOTD — Casio Marlin Duro/Marlin MDV106B

Wearing one I have had for a while but never shared yet, my Casio Marlin Duro MDV106B in Blue. Love the eye-catching blue color of this one! With a wonderful display, easy reading dial, and large crown that makes it easy for older hands to operate, this one is a winner. I am eager to try new bands with this one, too. This watch is much more beautiful in person than in the listing images.

The Casio Duro MDV-106 is also known as the Casio Marlin because of the Marlin on the Dial and Case Back. As I understand it, the original Casio Duro MDV-106 featured a Marlin Fish Logo on the Dial and Case Back. This led to the nickname "Marlin." However, Casio later lost the rights to use the marlin logo outside of North America, and the updated version of the watch, the MDV-107, does not have the marlin logo to avoid confusion and trademark issues.
