WOTD - BENYAR BLUE DIAL

Wearing my Benyar watch today. This is a very affordable watch from China. It is stainless steel, features a calendar window and three chronograph sub-dials, leather band, and a 2 – 3 year battery life. Normally listed at $35.98 on Amazon, this watch has kept accurate time, which is what it is supposed to do, after all. I picked up a few of these on sale during Amazon’s Prime Days and will share the others at a later date.

My only issue with it has been that, while it has performed perfectly well, I ordered this particular one because of the beautiful blue dial, as shown more clearly in the second, display photo. But, the blue really only shows well in a good light. In a darker setting in real life, it looks more blackish, which is okay, just a little disappointing. So, if you may be considering this one at any time, just be aware that the display photo may be a bit misleading. It was to me.

But on the whole, this watch works very well and other than the dial color disappointment, I am very happy with it. But because of the color issue, by default this one has become my “beater” watch.
