Wearing my Cancer buddy on treatment day.

This buddy has been my wingman since January 2023 when I began my 1st chemo treatment. It's a reminder that everything passes with time.

The DuFa (Deutsche Uhrenfabrik Thüringen) Bayer Swiss Automatic, specifically the DF-9016-33 model. It is a Bauhaus-inspired timepiece that balances minimalist German design with Swiss mechanical precision.

Key Specifications

Movement: Swiss Automatic 3-hand movement with a date complication (specifically the Sellita SW200-1).
Dial: Deep blue (Dunkelblau) featuring a recessed center, thin Bauhaus-style typography, and a discrete date window at the 6 o'clock position.
Case: 40mm diameter and 11mm thickness, made of polished 316L stainless steel.
Crystal: Scratch-resistant sapphire glass.
Strap: Stainless steel mesh (Milanese) bracelet with a deployment buckle.
Water Resistance: 3 ATM (30 meters), suitable for light splashes but not for swimming.
