Today’s Blue Monday Post is actually Blue! Unlike

"Teddy" as I have no officially named it! and his blue dial felt like the right way to start the week.

What I enjoy most about this watch is how much the dial changes depending on the light.

At a glance it can look fairly restrained — deep blue, classic proportions, small seconds, nice and balanced. Then the light catches the guilloché and everything wakes up.

You start seeing the texture, the pattern, the little shifts from darker navy into brighter blue, and suddenly the dial has a lot more going on than you first thought.

The fact that the Guilloché is all hand done on a 100+ year old machine is SO Fascinating for me and that’s probably why I keep coming back to this one.

I could stare at this one forever!!
