Another Seiko Setback

Well… my Seiko Prospex SPB385J1 Glacier Blue GMT just ghosted me. Seller sent the dreaded “sorry, out of stock” email—like a breakup text at 2 a.m. from someone you already bought concert tickets for.

There I was, daydreaming about that icy-blue dial catching the light while I pretended to know what time it is in Tokyo. Now it’s just me, an empty wrist, and the quiet realization that even watches don’t want to commit these days.

But hey, the ocean of Seiko is wide and full of other fish… probably also out of stock. I’ll be over here, refreshing waiting lists and whispering “there will be others” like a man who’s definitely not crying into his empty watch box. 🥲💙
