Several posts ago (my Dr Dre keyboard video) in my comments,

and I were talking about our preferences as far as rap. She prefers old school. I told her I agreed with her that Old School is indeed the way, but I appreciate the flows and patterns brought by new School. I believe in the importance of knowing how to merge the 2 together, so here's how I did exactly that In my own little open free verse. The first half of Drake's First Person Shooter beat was perfect for this, as I can work on cohesive bars with a faster flow, not for the sole sake of rapping fast, but to test how skilled I can truly be. But let me be clear: I'll ALWAYS be a singer as my primary talent before I be anything else.
