Your local Flutarian, serving sweet harmonies... would we vibe??
When I saw my friend Gregory Alexander last weekend (at the Austin Vegan Musicians meetup) I was pleased to see him... I'd seen him here or there since then, but the last time we played music together was 3 years ago, when he played this original song and I improvised on flute. I captured the moment. That doesn't always happen! I am so grateful that I've had the resources & environments to learn to improvise on flute. People started asking me "Where do you teach?" so I made a group on FB called Flutarians: helping flutists improvise... but we're on Skool now and it's better!! Don't you think?! Skool suggested the V1B1N Tribe when I was looking for music groups 😎 And yall seemed cool... so here I am! How do you imagine a flute would go with your music?? I would love to make some new duets!! (PS - Bet I know some other flutists who would like to too!)

Wow!! Beautiful! The flute is complimenting so well yet not just complimenting but making it unique and a statement! I love it!!! Something to be set about the person playing flute…. A real musician knows when to come in and not too be too much or too little…. Perfection consistent of perfect balance 💖💖💖💖 Thank you for sharing @Vic Wheeler! Also, welcome here!!!! 🤗💃✨💕

@Zor Zen Den me too! And I love YOU 😘
Reality...
There’s a difference between observing reality and drifting into stories. Nature already runs on cycles—moon, sun, planetary motion. These are measurable, repeatable, real. No belief required. Then comes human overlay: time systems, concepts, labels… sometimes useful, sometimes disconnected. And beyond that—layers of speculation like “star beings” without grounded data. Not rejecting possibilities. Just prioritizing signal over noise. If something is real, it leaves traces. Patterns. Evidence. Consistency. Until then, it’s just mental projection. That said—every living being carries energy, emits light in its own way. Not metaphorically only, but physically, biologically. So maybe the truth isn’t in escaping reality… but in understanding it deeply enough to see how extraordinary it already is. Let’s talk—but let’s stay anchored.

🎶What song has the most meaning in your life? 🎹 Can Music Save Your Mortal Soul?
It’s amazing how music can hold entire chapters of our lives, isn’t it? 🎶💃🪩🕺 The way a single melody or lyric can bring back laughter, connection, and sometimes even a quiet moment of healing. For me, the song is American Pie (the day the music died). In 1972 I was 9 years old and the only thing a wanted for Christmas was a portable radio. Santa delivered and the #1 hit at the time, that I listened to over and over again was Bye-Bye Miss American Pie by Don McLean. At the time it was the longest song to ever hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 at the time of its release, running at 8 minutes and 42 seconds. It held this record for nearly 50 years, from early 1972 until 2021. All these years later when the song plays, it stops me in my tracks as a listen to the lyrics and reminisce all the nostalgic memories. This morning writing this post I came across several video's of the story about the song, that probably explains it better then anything I've heard over the years. The song sounds happy, but feels sad. Its poetry invites personal loss interpretations, blending celebration with ache. At the time I was a paperboy delivering newspapers, had happiness and sadness already weaving through my life.🗞️ It struck a chord in so many ways! The song impacted me more than I realized even to this day. When I did a cross country RV trip four years ago, made it a point to stop and visit the Feb 2, 1959 plane crash site, ⭐⭐⭐ three stars memorial site. Many these days don't even know the names, Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and J.P. “The Big Bopper” Richardson. Frankly I didn't either when I was 9 years old. Yet, they and so many other artists have impacted and been a part of our lives, whether we realize it or not. Artist do live forever. Don McLean is still touring at 80 years young, singing "Now, Do You Believe in Rock 'n' Roll? Can Music Save Your Mortal Soul? The interview video below with Don McLean gives some of his insights on the song, America and the music industry.
