Allowing the Content to Attract
Some of you know, I had a consultation this afternoon. While it is not result in a sale (today) I wanted to share this with you because it demonstrates how the principles taught in here really work when applied. So, I was a little nervous about the call because it was a young man, and I specifically have not done business with men in the past. Well, shame on me for projecting my fears and insecurities on this call. This young man (30ish) told me that he saw my content on LinkedIn and it really resonated with him. Talk about a feel-good moment!! This coming from a young man! That being said, I think it is important to note that our conversation today in the Mindset Monday Call came up front and center. Beliefs. Beliefs, we are told, beliefs about ourselves, beliefs about others. Goodness, I allowed this call to be a little intimidating for me because of all the stuff in my past. But the truth is, it was a great call!!! Here are the takeaways regarding the Undependent Women's Club: 1. I am following the posting guidelines and philosophy taught in this group 2. The work outlines on the mindset call today is critically important to do 3. Stay laser focused on what you talk about 4. Your CTA should be to join your SKOOL group (he has been a member for a few weeks) 5. Nurture those in your SKOOL group When the call ended, he told me he really enjoyed the conversation. He loved my take on what he was trying to accomplish. And I helped him with a few things he really needed to improve, like his LinkedIn profile. I was pleasantly surprised by how well the conversation went and how well he received feedback because my experiences and the story I was telling myself were that men do not want advice from women. It taught me to not make assumptions and to go in confidently.
