My Son Wanted to Earn Some Money. He Knows What To Do!
We were running low on firewood so we made a trip to the mountains on Friday. Now we have a full cache and it's time to go to work...for my kids haha. (Yes, they split all of it so they can sell it locally as firewood) 😁 How's your weekend been so far?

Another Use for My Modl Infinity Tools
I added a backup battery to our solar powered bird bath but there was no easy way for me to "mount" the battery: no clips, no screws, no bracket, nothing! Luckily our solar panel is on our cucumber trellis so there are lot of places to secure it BUT the battery is a smooth box so string or paracord won't hold it very well; it would just slip out. 15 seconds later, it is now securely mounted with a Modl Infinity strap which can be easily tightened and it's grippy. Screen door headaches
I watched Dan's video on home repairs (Aug '26) specifically, the section about replacing screen in a screen door to see if I could learn any tips and tricks. I've done this a few times, but I have a wooden screen door with vertical slats on the bottom and I like to use PET screen in mine because I have furballs. Pet screen in a wooden screen door with vertical slats is unfairly setting myself up for failure, but here we are. I have had issues with the screen popping out and have tried smaller spline, stapling the corners, etc. I can't always blame the furballs for the screen and spline popping out. Anyone with thoughts/ideas?

What's Your Favorite Tool?
Mine is a Chainsaw. I don't know, maybe it's the raw power knowing I can cut down a tree in minutes when it used to take hours with an axe or saw. Maybe it's the smell of gasoline and oil. Maybe it's spending time in the mountains with my family and friends. Maybe it's knowing this tools helps us cut firewood my kids split and sell. Maybe it's coming home absolutely exhausted knowing I put in a hard days work. There are so many reasons why I love this tool and I'm grateful someone invented it because it has helped my family so much! What's your favorite tool?
