Power Production Starts From the Ground.
It starts with your ability to apply force into the ground and then absorb the ground reaction forces that come from it.
Transferring that force production from the foot all the way through the wrist (in the context of striking)
The key with building power is that you have to remove the deceleration component.
Hence why jumping and throwing are INFINITELY better than trying to do a landmine punch (you are better off throwing the bar but make sure the person catching has basic motor skills and isn’t a spastic)
Also, power is about VIOLENT INTENT. Thinking of throwing and jumping as high as possible when executing the rep. Intention is crucial (as Sam teaches in the 5th dimension of 6Ds)
