Welcome| Start here!
Hello and welcome to the community of the Technology of Imagination- a purely human approach to turning your thoughts into things all over creation. When activated creatives come together in a Kindred Quest, the world becomes a better place. This community is about taking on your big ideas and making them real. It's about practices from the inside out and a collective journey to the heart of what truly makes us human- our creativity. This is how we build a life by our design. Here's how to get started: 1. Watch this video. It'll explain some stuff. 2. Participate: Introduce yourself, what you're up to, what you're intending to create for yourself through this community, what you might need. 3. Respond to other introductions. Get to know each other. This is could potentially be a vastly more interesting social channel than any of your others because this is where the juice of your life is. And participating will make it even more so. 4. Periodically check the classroom for content. It will grow as we do. 5. Come to one of the live calls and share what you're up to, connect with others, move the needle or just hang out. Check the calendar for times and dates. 6. If you're already operating at a high level or have a project that needs special attention, DM me and we can talk about deepening our approach to turning your thought into a thing. So delighted you're here! Onward and upward! Artfully yours, Dave

Creativity for Humans Week Two
We had a lovely session with our model Eve this week. Creators from across the US as well as Brazil and India showed up. Here are some drawings and a shot from the session. We talked about being present to the moment and creating from that place, how to hack past the unhelpful self talk by simply holding your pencil differently and the surprising value of just creating together. Join us this Wednesday at 8AM Pacific for our Kindred Quest meeting where I'll share some thoughts About Doubt and we'll hear more about what you're up to in the world. The link is on the Calendar page as well as at the top of the Community page. Don't miss it!
Creativity for Humans Week Two
This is what democracy looks like...
Hello Creator! Another week of creating is about to unfold before us. What will you build? Last week I was in Washington DC at the "We Are The Founders" conference put on by Policy Link. 2500 folks from all walks of life and all disciplines coming together to talk about Democracy for All. It was so encouraging in these strange and dark times. Ya gotta know that people are doing some great work for life on Earth. This week we're back on for the Creativity for Humans live costumed model session on Monday at 4PM Pacific and we'll have a short session for our Kindred Quest call on Wednesday at 8AM Pacific. Bring your challenges and creations and together let's move the needle on what's important for you and a better world. Now is the time friend. Now is the time. Here are some shots and creations from my trip. And Yes, that is indeed Jon Baptiste who played at the event and yes, that's a digital study of a Rembrandt self portrait from the National Gallery of Art and yes, those are my hands behind the orchestra where I contributed several short animated interludes for the debut of the Democracy Concerto. Check the calendar at the link above join us this week! Enjoy and onward and upward! Artfully yours Dave

MoMoMotivation
Thank you, Dave, for composing the beautiful belief lattices, which correlate with Technology of the Imagination. I see how Action and Knowledge continually circle the world of possibilities. My burning Q is: what thoughts motivate someone to action to learn to change to grow to communicate to overcome fear, to recognize depression, to See, to Act, to Learn? Are thoughts energy, our life force?

Even if it's someone else's! This week I had a chance to go the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC to see my friends. Yes, I joke that they are all dead but we have engaging conversations anyway. We talk about art and life and light and love. It's really wonderful. And I do some drawings and paintings of their work while we chat. Here are the results of that. How are you staying close to the work? Please share. I'd love to know!
