Hello Fellow Creator! Summer travels are complete and it looks like a good stretch of creation ahead for the Fall. This is a very creative time of year for me. How's it look for you? If you'd like to step it up, check out today's Creativity for Humans session at 4PM Pacific IRL and online, or join us Wednesday morning at 8AM Pacific for the Kindred Quest. These are challenging times and more than ever, we need each other to realize our imaginings. Problem is we've been trained to do it alone. But that's not how it has to be. You see that now. That's why you're here. Raise your spirits and your work. Join us this week and go deeper on your own Technology of Imagination. Your future self will thank you. Only love Dave PS.These images below are the first two pages in my latest sketchbook. The first image is how I felt mired in the muck of my doing everything alone. The second image is the transmutation of all that muck into a great pearl of creation when I know I am not the story and I have friends and a community that supports me.

Hello Friends! I trust your summer unfolded nicely and you're enjoying the new season. Here in LA the world is still trying to pretend it's summer. It's hot. I'm back from a month of travels and in full Fall swing next week as we create the rest of the year together. I'm so excited about what I have to share with you and ever more committed to your creativity making the world we know is possible. I'm including below a little sampling from my travels. I'd love to know what are you creating for the next few months? The next year? Your life? We're about to turn up the heat on this community and the best way to create the life you are designing is by staying close to the work and playing full out here. I'll have tools and practices for deep creation and powerful ways for you to turn your thoughts into things. So gather in an stay close. I'm grateful to you for being on this journey together. Remember the Kindred Quest you're a part of and despite the headwinds and doom presented with each thumb scroll, we got this. Let's all keep rising. Check the calendar for next week's sessions and I'll see you then! Artfully yours Dave

I was driving down Wilshire through Beverly Hills the other day when I came to an intersection where they were repairing a traffic light at an intersection. The light was out and a traffic cop was standing in the middle of the intersection, directing traffic. As I passed, I noticed that a car was waiting to cross Wilshire, but the traffic cop was gesturing that only a right turn was permitted. He kept waving for the car to turn right instead of crossing Wilshire, but the car seemed to be stubbornly refusing. It was an unoccupied Waymo. I had to drive on with the flow of traffic, so I didn't get to see how this standoff played out. The Waymo clearly wasn't able to recognize this human being with white gloves telling it which way to turn, and the traffic cop didn't seem to recognize that there wasn't anyone occupying the Waymo car. For all I know, they're still there, each stubbornly trying to stick to its programming.
