After race report

I will have to conclude that this was the most gruesome race I have ever done in my life and the reason for that is because it was compared to this alleged “ Hawaiian ice” on multiple occasions. The up hill rock gardens were an absolute nightmare zero traction, lots of pushing till I found the right lines. I also used a lot of different techniques and skills to survive this race, my success was driven from being able to create front wheel lift and carry it comfortably to the desired position or spot I wanted it. But most of all carrying momentum in a gear higher than you’d expect, plus building power in the clutch and being able to release that energy when needed and being able to quickly turn that off to let the momentum carry me over obstacles. All and all I placed 3rd in class and 6th overall for the Saturday morning race!
