Honored to Welcome Empress Rebecca to the King’s Circle 🌟
Today I’m proud to officially welcome Rebecca Russel, aka Empress Rebecca, as the first person from my home, St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, to join the King’s Circle. Rebecca and I both come from the western part of the island — which makes this moment even more special. Rebecca also carries Puerto Rican ancestry and has a deep love for culture and the Ifá tradition. She embodies strength, wisdom, and commitment to community. She is also a passionate advocate for students with disabilities and families navigating that journey. Rebecca recently published a workbook created specifically to support parents of children with disabilities — a resource rooted in compassion, lived experience, and practical guidance. 📘 You can learn more about her workbook here:🔗 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FVSPFP2N?ref=cm_sw_r_ffobk_cso_wa_mwn_dp_5G69NNBZ2K2GWSHFYS1K_1&ref_=cm_sw Rebecca was also recently interviewed back home on the show Strength to Strength, where she shared her story and mission.🎙 Listen to her interview here:🔗 https://drive.google.com/file/d/16EyrQfWkCVBEu4WYs2jVrQPZHa5Vka0U/view I’m so glad Rebecca is on this journey with us, and I’m truly grateful for her friendship over the years.
