No matter who you are, man or woman, gay or straight, trans or non-binary, white, black, red, yellow, or brown, we all came Into this world through the portal that is our mother. I imagine we all have incredible tales of deep compassion, love, care, and nurture that we have experienced from our moms. I also imagine that we all have stories, experiences, impacts, and effects from the hurt and wounding of our mothers that have led to the hurt and wounding of ourselves too.
I invite you all to share whatever you feel called to about your mother. I also invite you to share both the light and the shadow, as it's essential to acknowledge both, recognizing that there is no shame for them or us in the process. It's simply an acknowledgement of our experience and the truth of our perspectives. All is welcome
Lots of love to all of you and the beautiful women that created you and brought you into this world.
I'll start.
