Remember what's important when busy building your empire...
There you are, sitting at your computer. You are hunched over a bit because you are so intent on your engagement and your content, and you've got an AI agent running alongside, attacking your text, or maybe an image. You keep that DM going so your lead doesn't feel you aren't giving them 100% of your attention. AI is done processing, and you want to see the results, and hope you don't have to tell it again that it missed the entire point of what you were looking for.
⁉️ Does this sound familiar?
😱But then another familiar sound comes screaming over the natural airwaves of your home office.
"WEEEEE'RE HUUUUUNGRY!!!!!" 🙇🙇🏻‍♀️😭
Yup....it's your kids, that have emerged from their caves of solitude, which was so great because it gave you some time to focus...and focus...and forget they were there. Well, not that you forgot you had kids, but you were so intent on your own stuff, and being so productive, and distracted from everything else that it hit you like a wet towel ‼️ being thrown at you from across the room.
❓So, now what?
Well, you could jump up and gather them and run to a drive-thru 🚗, or call for a delivery after 20 minutes ⏲️ of fighting over what to get, and not wanting to pay for expedited fees because it's already 25% more just for having it delivered. This is happening all while your mind is still on the content you were updating, and the DM you had open, or the AI agent fixing that last prompt. You try to take a deep breath, but it's cut short by the chaos happening around you. It has already been 20 minutes of arguing and trying to figure out a plan, while you just want to get back to your computer. When you do get back to your computer, the DM has gone cold, the AI is waiting for your next instruction, and your video is still compiling.
🤔OR!!!!
You could open the fridge and the pantry and grab the storage container of shredded chicken 🍗 you made the other day and put it in a saucepan 🥘with some BBQ sauce, get out the buns you bought this weekend, and toast them lightly. By the time the buns are done, the chicken is warm, and on the temporary home on the bun before it gets ravaged by your hungry child. You place a couple of pickle slices on that bed of freshly made BBQ chicken sandwich, and put some baby carrots with ranch on the side of the plate.
I think that took longer to write than it would be to actually make happen. Dinner is served. Your kids are eating. It has only been 10 minutes, and you are back to your project, and the lead on your DMs has already written down, "Ok, I'm in!!! Where do I sign up?" 🪧 You give her the link to sign up and tell her to keep an eye out for your email.
Then you got back to your kids and joined them for dinner. You all sit and chat about your day, and tell stories, and jokes, and in the back of your mind, you are so grateful you found your new level of cooking comfort zone, and used your newly discovered 'speed batch' cooking tips and had dinner on the table in 10 minutes, ⏱️ didn't lose a lead, and were able to have dinner with your kids.
If this is all too familiar to you, or if it closely resembles a "weekday-in-the-life "of YOU? Then you too need to raise your Cooking Comfort Zone, and eliminate the anxiety of busy schedules causing dinner time to be the most dreaded part of your day, and turn it into the best part of your day!!!
