Success And Observation

Today was a long but rewarding day with my lovely partners at ACI. Waking up at 7 am to head out on a beautiful drive at sunrise to reach our event. Beautiful leaves drenched in golden sunlight, the glistening river flowing on its way, and some good company for the ride. We set up for one of our many events this year with more precise execution than ever before, and it reminded me how grateful I am for my friends and business partners (Literally couldn't do it without you!). The air was crisp and the rain blew out for a perfect day outside.

As people started rolling in we got to talking, and sharing inspiring words with one another. Most importantly this is always an opportunity to feel out what our audience is looking for in our handmade goods. I always observe closely to what people look at, and say to better refine my craft as an artist. It's not always what I want to hear, but catering to the our audiences needs is so important to our success. I value this information so much as it helps in developing my craft, and it forces me out of my comfort zone to create new things that I may not have dared to do before.

Never be afraid to listen, take a critique, or go outside of your comfort zone to allow yourself to grow into the best self you can be!

What I took away from today was that community is so important for growth, communication, and inspiration. You don't always have to go it alone. Take feedback in a positive light. Break free from the shackles that hold you back, and expand your horizons. And to enjoy the little things in life!
