Hey everyone!
I’m still finalizing the Google Forms for the anthology submissions. I’ll post the links as soon as they are ready.
In the meantime, I wanted to give you a few things to think about while you prepare:
1. Keeping It Accessible (Entry Fees)
We don't want money to be the reason you don't submit. To help with that, we offer a significant discount on editing services for anthology stories.
In that same spirit, we are keeping entry fees as low as possible.
• Suggested Fee: $20 per story (for standard length, non-flash anthologies).
• Minimum Fee: $5.
Note: Entry fees are non-refundable.
If you are able to pay more than the suggested amount, it helps balance out those who can only pay the minimum. We appreciate your support in making this accessible for everyone!
2. Strategy: Connect Your Worlds
Use your anthology submission as a bridge to your other work! This is a perfect opportunity to write:
• A lead-in to one of your existing book series.
• A side character's origin story.
• A prequel to a larger project.
Why? Because every participating author gets an Author Page in the anthology. If readers love your short story, you can use that page to tell them exactly where to go to read more. Make sure your story is complete (with an ending!), but let it serve as an invitation to your universe.
Any questions? Amber and Tirzah are happy to help.
