TGI-Thursday Night
As we move into Friday, I want to invite you to try a small noticing exercise. If you’re seeing this on Thursday evening, take a moment now. If you’re seeing it later, you can try this on the evening before your next day off. Pause for a moment and notice how you feel knowing that a break from work is coming. It might be relief, anticipation, or something else entirely. There’s nothing to change or analyze. Just notice and sit with whatever shows up for a few minutes. Sometimes simply allowing ourselves to feel the approach of rest is a quiet form of recovery.

Mid-week Check-in
If work has felt heavier than expected this week, you’re not behind and you’re not doing anything wrong. Mid-week often brings the quiet weight of what’s already happened and what still feels like it’s ahead. If you can, take a moment tonight to notice how you’re holding the week. Not to fix it. Just to notice. You might ask yourself: what’s been most draining so far, and where have I been pushing more than I realized? You don’t need to solve anything right now. Sometimes the most supportive thing you can do mid-week is soften your grip just a little and give yourself permission to not carry everything perfectly. Whether you check in here, take a quiet breath, or simply keep moving through your evening, you’re welcome exactly as you are.
