As we move into Friday, I want to invite you to try a small noticing exercise.
If you’re seeing this on Thursday evening, take a moment now. If you’re seeing it later, you can try this on the evening before your next day off.
Pause for a moment and notice how you feel knowing that a break from work is coming. It might be relief, anticipation, or something else entirely. There’s nothing to change or analyze. Just notice and sit with whatever shows up for a few minutes.
Sometimes simply allowing ourselves to feel the approach of rest is a quiet form of recovery.
