Hard Truth: Most Baseball Training Is Random
This might upset some people, but it needs to be said. A lot of athletes are “training” without actually developing. They take swings in the cage. Throw a bullpen. Lift some weights. But there’s no structure, no tracking, and no development plan. That’s not a system. That’s guessing. Real development requires measurable progress. Athletes should be tracking things like: • Exit velocity • Pitch velocity • Strength numbers • Bat speed • Mechanical efficiency When those numbers improve, the athlete improves. That’s exactly why we built the Vault Athlete App. The goal wasn’t to build another training tool. The goal was to build a complete development system athletes can actually follow.
