7 Cups
I’ve recently stepped into something meaningful — I’ve joined 7 Cups as a volunteer listener. It’s not paid work, but it is a chance to offer real support to people who feel alone, overwhelmed, or unheard. As someone who’s walked through trauma, neurodivergence, and rebuilding myself from the inside out, I know how powerful it is just to have someone listen without judgment. If you ever need a calm space, a grounding voice, or someone who understands the messy parts of being human, I’m here. This is just the beginning of my journey into peer support, and I’m excited to keep growing, learning, and helping others along the way. If you’re curious about peer support or want to talk about lived‑experience work, I’d love to connect. peer support • lived experience • mental health support

A peer support perspective
A lot of people are carrying things quietly right now. Not always something big or obvious… Just a constant weight, stress, or feeling that’s hard to explain. And the truth is—most people don’t actually want advice. They don’t want to be analyzed or told what to do. They just want: • someone to listen • a space to be real • a moment where they don’t have to hold everything in That’s what peer support is. It’s not therapy. It’s not about having the “right” answers. It’s about human connection. It’s about sitting with someone and saying: “You don’t have to be alone in this.” I’m building a small peer support space right now—online and in-person. It’s simple and low-pressure: You can talk, or you can just listen. There’s no expectation to share anything. If something in this resonates with you, you’re welcome here 💛 You can comment or message me if you want to know more.

Knowledge Check
💡 Quick lesson: What peer support ACTUALLY looks like 👇 A lot of people think peer support is just…“liking posts” or saying “you got this” It’s not that. Real peer support looks like: - Sharing what actually worked for you - Asking good questions to help someone think - Being honest about your own struggles - Offering perspective, not just motivation - - Here’s the truth: The fastest way to grow in this community is NOT just consuming… It’s participating. Because: Someone else’s experience can shortcut your learning Your experience could be exactly what someone else needs Let’s practice: Read this and respond: If someone says:“I feel stuck and don’t know what to do next…” What would you say to them? Don’t overthink it — just respond as you would in real life Reminder: You don’t have to be an expert to help someone You just need to be one step ahead or willing to show up
