Today I asked someone a simple question. "What made you want to write this book?" 📖 There was a long pause. Then they smiled. And they said, “No one's ever asked me that before." That's the thing about writing. ✍️ Sometimes we think we need better words. What we actually need are better questions. Questions help us uncover stories we didn't even realize we were carrying. That's one of my favorite parts of working with writers. ✍️ Watching the moment everything suddenly becomes clearer.
