🧭 The Moment Most Writers Start Doubting Themselves
This is when it gets tough to write. ✍️ Feelings come up and self-doubt creeps in. It usually doesn't happen at the beginning. The beginning is exciting. 🤩 The idea feels alive. The possibilities feel endless. It's somewhere in the middle that doubt often shows up. 🧐 You start wondering: "Is this any good?" "Will anyone care?" "Can I actually finish this?" And here's what I've learned: Doubt doesn't automatically mean you're on the wrong path. Sometimes it means you're finally taking the story seriously. What has your biggest doubt been lately? Let's talk about it and a great way to help when this feeling comes up is to get a roadmap of the struggles and find solutions. That's what I do when I have my connection calls! If you're wanting that guidance, reach out and book a call! 📱

🧭 The Moment Most Writers Start Doubting Themselves
I Spoke in front of 80 People for SkoolX!
The SKOOLx Final is now available to watch on replay and 😮‍💨 it’s was intense yet rewarding! All 8 of us did a great job! We stepped onto the virtual stage, each with a unique story, message, and perspective. Now I’d love for you to experience our talks and decide which one moved you the most. (I’m hoping that mine moves you the most! 😉) ▶️ Watch the replay here: https://youtu.be/xdsKiaPQf7c 🗳️ Vote for the speaker you connected with the most here: https://forms.gle/kDLtMA1W7HoryhLJ6 ⏰ Voting closes on SUNDAY at 23:59 CET. My legs felt like wet noodles for an hour or two after doing my speech! 🎤 😅 But I’m so thankful for sharing my message and my dream is to get on a stage and perform in front of a live audience!! Exciting!! Thank you to all the other finalists and for all the support! Also, thank you @Ben Sherry for inviting me to this! @Justin Yip loved your talk! Éva Raposa her talk was moving and touched my heart! @Doa Kaptan you did remarkable! @Ayu Masruroh your talk was much needed and I’m happy that you had the courage to share it! Each person delivered a piece of themselves in the talk! All of them were amazing! 🤩

✨ The Myth of the Self-Made Author
We love stories about people who did it all themselves. 🙌 👏 The lone author. 👏 The overnight success. The writer who locked themselves away and emerged with a masterpiece. But when you look closer? 👀 Most successful authors had: 📖 editors 📖 mentors 📖 critique partners 📖 beta readers 📖 support systems Writing may be a solo activity. Finishing and publishing often isn't. 💭 Who has helped you the most on your writing journey so far?

@Moses Skosana That is very true! however, if authors start to look at public speaking as another form of storytelling, that may help. That's how it helps me. Plus, I don't pitch in my speaking, however I still let the audience know what I do within it.

@Moses Skosana No and I completely agree! There's a story behind speaking events, music, drawings and any kind of artwork. And it seems many have forgotten that
🌙 What Have You Proven to Yourself This Week?
Forget word count. Forget productivity. Forget how much you got done. Think about YOU. What have you proven to yourself this week? Maybe: 🌿 You showed up. 🌿 You wrote when it was hard. 🌿 You got clearer. 🌿 You didn't quit. Books are built through those moments. This week I had been working on my speech and focused on fighting that inner critic that wanted me to throw in the towel. But I didn’t! I gave my speech virtually live yesterday and that’s because I didn’t give in to staying in my comfort. So, I have a question for you, What did this week teach you about yourself as a writer? ✍️
🌙 What Have You Proven to Yourself This Week?
Phew! 😮‍💨 It was a busy week! But I’m proud of myself for following through with giving that speech live! I’m proud that I kept finding ways to better myself! How about you?

@Shirley-Louise Daniels That's great! How does it feel to get out of that comfort bubble?
I Want to Say THANK YOU!! 🙏
Before we dive into this day, I want you to thank you for coming on my storytelling journey through speaking! 🗣️ I'm so thankful for all of you that have supported me and for being here to see how writing a book can expand your reach in so many ways! You can get on stage and talk about your book, or connect to it in some way! You can meet more people and find support that can last a lifetime. You can reach the people that your book was meant for. What are your thoughts on taking that next step? 🤔
I Want to Say THANK YOU!! 🙏
