Where insight begins with attention
Welcome to The Practice of Insight. This is a space to slow down, notice carefully, and let understanding emerge - naturally, without forcing it. Most of what we call 'insight' comes not from rushing or collective advice, but from paying attention to what's already present: the evidence, the patterns, the small signals we often overlook. Here, we practice noticing first, evaluating second, and letting insight appear third. This community is audio-first. You'll hear short guided reflections, exercise, and occasional live sessions - all designed to cultivate clarity in thinking, judgment, and perception. Your first step: Today, just notice one thing around you that you usually overlook. It could be a sound, a colour, a texture, a feeling, or a pattern. Take a moment. Reflect. Notice what that tells you about your environment - and about how you notice in general. There's no need to share yet - just practice noticing. If you feel like it, you can drop a note here about what caught your attention, but silence is respected as much as reflection. This is the beginning of our shared practice. Over time, we'll build habits and language that help insight emerge reliably, in life, work, and understanding. Welcome.

A small noticing from this morning
I was making coffee and realised I wasn't there at all. My hands were doing the thing but my mind was already three hours ahead, rehearsing a conversation that might not even happen. When I noticed, I stopped. Watched the water. Felt the warmth of the cup. Nothing changed, really. But something settled. What did you notice today?

Greetings
Hello everyone, I'm new here Hope it's safe to chat here
We're live. Welcome.
The Practice of Insight is open, and the first course is ready for you. Foundations of Insight introduces the rhythm of this practice: noticing what's present before rushing to interpret it, evaluating consciously based on criteria you choose, and allowing insight to emerge in its own time. Four audio lessons. About 25 minutes total. A guided noticing practice at the end. There's no rush. Start when you're ready. Take your time with it. If you've listened and something landed - or something's still settling - you're welcome to share in the Practice or Reflections space. Or stay quiet. Both are fine. This is where it begins.

We're live. Welcome.
For everything else
A book you're reading. A walk you took. A question that has nothing to do with insight. This is the junk drawer. The good kind.
