Not Every Opportunity Starts With a Product
One thing I've learned building online is that not every opportunity starts with a product. A connection made online eventually led to a collaboration with Tonje Emilie Bjørnerud, Mrs Norway Globe 2026. The project was an independently produced campaign short developed through Vascend Brands & Partnerships for international digital distribution. I produced it. Tonje came on as co-producer, entrepreneur & featured talent. Nikos Mantzaridis, our videographer in Greece, directed, shot & edited the entire piece. Alexandra Spyropoulou supported production & behind the scenes photography. The final cut combined original cinematography, licensed Norwegian tourism footage & advocacy-focused storytelling across an internationally collaborative production. It was later published by the Mrs Globe organisation, and submitted to Screen Producers Australia, where I'm an Associate Member. Most people see ecommerce as products, suppliers, stores & ads. Those things matter. But relationships matter too. The opportunities that create the biggest impact often come from showing up consistently, building trust & being open to unexpected collaborations. A good reminder that building online is often bigger than the store itself.

Been heads down, time to bring this back to life
Quieter here than planned since launch. I have been buried in the actual work, running stores, dealing with suppliers, fixing things nobody sees until they break. Honestly that is the point of this community. Real building, no polished daily updates for the sake of it. Starting now I am sharing more regularly. Product finds, store updates, the real side of building an online brand. Drop a comment and tell me what you want to see more of. Fashion, pets, home, or the ecom and building side.

From a suspended Etsy account to a multi brand ecosystem. Here is how it started.
I started with a simple idea back in 2023. Sell print on demand products on Etsy. I did not know much, honestly did not put real effort into it until January 2026, and by then Etsy had suspended my account over a verification issue before I had even made a single sale. That suspension turned out to be the best thing that happened. It forced me to also look elsewhere and that is when I discovered dropshipping. From there it was a gradual process. Researching, testing, trying different directions, making mistakes, expanding. Today I am running Vascend, a multi brand business hub with branches across fashion and lifestyle, pets, affiliate content, wellness, eBay, and now a brands and partnerships arm that came about by chance through a relationship I had been building for a long time. Going back to Etsy was also part of the journey. The store is slowly growing again. Sometimes you have to return to the thing that did not work the first time and do it properly. I am also building toward an Amazon store and clearly, this community. Here is the one thing nobody told me that I wish they had. Building an online business actually requires real monetary investment. It is not simply starting a Shopify store and start watching the money come in. There are tools, apps, suppliers, marketing, and a hundred small decisions that all cost something. Time and money both. That is what this community is about. The real side of building and selling online across fashion, pets, home, and beyond. What works, what does not, and what I am learning as I go. If you are building something or thinking about it, you are in the right place. Drop a comment and tell me what you are working on.
