Reflections after reading Ishmael by Daniel Quinn💗
Ishmael, as I finished the book frustrated answer at the end of the rainbow although in never expecting it but deep down my ego was striving for it. That's the frustration he was never going to tell you what to do. Showing you how to become yourself. Becoming yourself can be scary to trust your intuition. Weeding through it all. I had not been feeling well since Thursday and it was my body telling me to slow down!!!!! Hey!!! Slow down your breathe, all of it, find it. Go deep. Hard for people to do whatever they wanted to do. Whatever emerges from what Daniel wanted from the story. Listening to the podcast and how his children were talking on it too! Like come on! Stop it so cute! He delivered the message in a way that keep you following what is happening and give you perspective. Perspective is amazing! When he had the interview with THNO with Daniel Quinn's wife Rennie. Oh man it had me in tears. She talked about how, "People would continue to come to him wanting to know the answer, tell me the answers, you must have them and you haven't told us." But it continues to come back to finding yourself, trusting yourself. See where you sit in the world but then look to were do i want to go from here. Where perspective are you left in your own thought process from here and how would you show up in the world? What story will you continue to tell. Then from here starting exploring. Reflecting on this was that it was not just about the book, it was about seeing myself and wanting the answer after finished. But realizing the answer was never the point. Of course my ego was whispering like okay what is the conclusion from all of this. "There is no script, there is only you."
Cracks are all around us, the crack in the concrete & what grows in the opening 💗 change the story we are enacting, we will change the memory life. 🌻
Everything about our future has to be local. Being connected in the food, the process....connection. Underground systems. And how being taught a consumer mindset has shifted us into a depression state but also as the depression state has come to the surface its allowing us to go into our depths. I struggled with suicidal ideations for years and realizing how in society how when we go into those steps were ale to come back out alive and more vibrant than we ever thought if we are embracing that. I think with the take or the consuming society, it felt like well if your not consuming enough, your not doing enough and that is when people started to feel like they weren't valued or they are, they didn't, they weren't seeing the value of themselves anymore. False competitive way of being.
