New Years Manifesto
The new year never arrives empty-handed.
It brings pressure.
Clarity.
A reckoning.
For our community — the Tribe of Inquietos — it brings something more dangerous:
Agency.
Economist Joseph Schumpeter understood this better than most.
He argued that real progress doesn’t come from preserving the status quo —
it comes from entrepreneurs willing to dismantle it.
He called it Creative Destruction.
Not chaos.
Not rebellion for its own sake.
But the courageous act of replacing what no longer serves
with something better, fairer, and more alive.
This is our role.
We are done waiting to be invited.
Done asking to be validated.
Done shrinking our ambition to fit systems that were never built for us.
Latino founders are not a footnote in the economy.
We are builders.
Employers.
Culture-makers.
Change starts small.
A first customer.
A first hire.
A community that chooses ownership over extraction.
And then it compounds.
The future is not coming to save us.
It is waiting for us to build it.
New year.
Same fire.
Clearer purpose.
