A time was had!
Hi everyone! It was such a pleasure meeting you all yesterday at our meet & greet. Thank you for bringing such great energy! I want to take full responsibility for a scheduling mix-up on my end. I’m in training Saturday and Sunday from 10am–7pm and won’t be able to host class at the originally planned time. Thank you so much for your understanding. This training with Balanced Body is part of my ongoing education and is something I’m intentionally pursuing to deepen my skills, enabling me to I the best possible teacher for you and support you more fully in your Pilates journey. I’d love to find another time to move together. We can hold class tomorrow (Saturday) or Sunday, before or after my training. Please share your availability below, and we’ll schedule a time that works best for the majority. I’m really looking forward to practicing together soon.

A New Year...A New Day
Today is January 1st, which usually comes with a lot of talk about New Year’s resolutions—big promises, big pressure, big expectations. But here’s what I want to offer instead:Every day is a new start. This community is new. This journey is new. And every time you step onto your mat, your body will be new too. Some days you’ll feel strong. Some days you’ll feel stiff. Some days movement will feel amazing, and other days it might feel… humbling. All of that is part of the Pilates journey. Here, we’re not chasing perfection or “starting over” once a year. We’re practicing showing up, noticing what’s there, and meeting our bodies where they are—one day at a time. I’m really glad you’re here at the beginning of this with me.This is a new space for all of us, and we get to build it together. 💬 If you want to share: What’s one word you want to carry into this year—or even just into today? I'll go first. Becoming — Jessica
🌱 A New Year Means New Containers
Today I submitted a letter of resignation, sharing that my last day would be January 7th. There was no response… but I was immediately removed from the schedule and employee communications.I won’t lie — I expected a little pettiness, and they showed up right on cue. 😌 It made me laugh, but it also felt like a very clear New Year reminder: When something no longer supports your growth, it’s okay to leave it behind. A new year isn’t just about adding goals or resolutions. Sometimes it’s about releasing old containers that have become too small. In Pilates, we know growth happens when there’s space — the same is true in life. Same roots. New pot. 🌱And honestly… perfect timing. If this resonates with you, I’d love to know: What’s something you’re leaving behind as you step into this new year? — Jessica
