๐Ÿ’› Alright, letโ€™s check in ! ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ’›
Thanks to everyone who jumped into the poll โ€” even noticing your reaction is half the magic.
So far, snapping/irritation and push through/ignore are leading the way, I will continue to monitor the poll over the coming week.
These results are a familiar story..
Some of us go a bit spiky under stress โ€” short fuse, sharp tone, everything feels loud. Not because weโ€™re โ€œangry peopleโ€, but because that response once helped us get space, be heard, or feel safe.
Others go full autopilot โ€” head down, keep going, feelings later (or never ๐Ÿ˜…). Often that started as being โ€œthe capable oneโ€ or learning early that stopping wasnโ€™t an option.
And hereโ€™s the important bit ๐Ÿ‘‰ none of these are flaws.
Theyโ€™re habits your nervous system picked up a long time ago.
This week isnโ€™t about changing who you are or digging up everything at once. Itโ€™s more like getting curious: ๐Ÿง Ohhh, so THIS is what I do when stress hitsโ€ฆ interesting.
If you picked unsure, that counts too. Awareness usually sneaks up after the reaction, not before.
Next up, weโ€™ll look at what actually helps each of these patterns in real life โ€” small shifts, no pressure, nothing โ€œwooโ€.
For now, Iโ€™m curious ๐Ÿ‘‡
When you notice your stress response, whatโ€™s the first thing you feel in your body?
Youโ€™re doing better than you think ๐Ÿ’›
