To everyone whoโs just joined โ Iโm really glad youโre here.
Grounded Roots is all about slowing down, understanding our children (and ourselves), and finding calm in the noise of everyday life.
And speaking of calmโฆ our home has had an unexpected little grounding gift recently.
A neighbors cat โ who had been visiting for a while โ quietly decided our conservatory was the safest place to have her babies.
No drama, no fuss. She just trusted, settled in, and gave birth to six tiny kittens while the whole house was busy doing life. There were no complications and all babies are doing well ๐ค๐
Theyโve become such a reminder of what we talk about here all the time:
that regulation comes from safety,
that healing happens in quiet moments,
and that sometimes the gentlest things arrive right when we didnโt even know we needed them.
So hereโs a small, soothing moment from them today ๐โโฌโจ๐
