Launch Call Follow up: What Does A Step of Faith Actually Mean?
This isn't an answer or list of Bible verses. This is open-ended thoughts that came up during the launch call.
What are your preconceived ideas of action-oriented faith? Comment below with your thoughts and add to the list below of potential steps of faith.
Could a step of faith be as simple as:
  • Doing something that doesn't make sense
  • Having no clue why you're doing something
  • Giving up control
  • Slowing down
  • Not knowing and being okay with that
  • Being expectant while relinquishing expectations
As you start the challenge this week, each day will end open-ended. There isn't a specific step to follow or prompt to initiate next. That's where the Holy Spirit comes in.
Here is a list of out of the box steps that could come up this week. Keep them in your mind and heart as potential things God may invite you to.
  • Forgiveness
  • Listening and hearing silence
  • Getting honest about your specific desire
  • Getting honest about your specific fears
  • Repentance (Not just turning away from something, but turning toward something God shows you)
  • Joy
  • Letting Go of Understanding
