January Update + Grant Guidance?
Hey everyone — happy New Year! 🎉 I wanted to share a little January update and say how grateful I am to be part of this community. A few interesting things happened over the holidays that genuinely surprised me. First… I had a LinkedIn post go unexpectedly viral.Over 300 reactions and 34,000+ impressions 🤯 It’s surprising the people it connected me with — folks I never would’ve crossed paths with otherwise. If you’re curious, here’s the link— it really seemed to resonate during the holidays. https://www.linkedin.com/posts/makethegradewithjade_makethegradewithjade-christmas-holiday-activity-7409593714521681920-dV0z?utm_medium=ios_app&rcm=ACoAACT-BWYBan-Zjd1lUT72_H5NkVP-VEgjC5A&utm_source=social_share_send&utm_campaign=copy_link I have this GPT to thank for the help: https://chatgpt.com/c/69598083-4944-832e-b676-0f900e1f995c I also have several calls lined up this week that could lead to opportunities (trying not to get ahead of myself, but cautiously optimistic). One of them is with a founder connected to a foreign language academy here in Tennessee. I pitched myself, showed value, created a slide deck, and now I’m having a real conversation for potential online consulting — and that feels like growth in itself. Another small but meaningful win: I met with a potential client who actively showed interest in working with me. That doesn’t happen often for me, so it meant a lot. They’re improving their English and want to move into gaming… which is very much my sweet spot. On the cohort side: my Maven program starts Monday. Only two people signed up, and I did lower the price, but I also asked for honest written and video testimonials if they find it valuable. It’s a start. I’ll use what I learn from this run to improve February, and I’ll likely try again in March (April will be lighter since I’m heading to North Carolina — a little gift I found under the tree this year 🎄).
Merry Christmas All!
Hey everyone, Thank you ALL for showing up today, and giving me energy when I needed it most. Been a rough few weeks personally but this community is definitely a space that has held me up this year and I'm grateful to every single one of you for being here and making this what it is. I hope to see you all in 2026, and I will message you all personally in the next few days as well. For those who've been here since the start, I am grateful to you all for sticking with us and allowing me to support you, even in small ways. For those who joined CBC, thank you for your hard work too. If you feel like this community is somewhere you can see yourself winning in 2026, would love to have you join us. Or if you'd like to discuss potentially doing some work together on a more 1-1 basis, let me know and we can chat in January. Have a wonderful Christmas everyone. Rest up, and come back stronger. There's no call on the 30th as I'm taking a break until January (it's needed 😂). Hope to see you all in 2026, for a bigger and better year. Here's to you 🥂 ~Kev

My Impressions Went Up With This Tool! 😮
Seriously! I don't know if you're familiar with Chris Donnelly. Apparently, he's the co-founder of Searchable.com. Well anyways, he gave away these free GPTs for algorithms, and the Scroll Stopping Hook Generator was the one that stood out to me: https://chatgpt.com/g/g-69286671265c8191b426db611ed206cb-the-scroll-stopping-hook-generator I basically ask it to choose the best hook for my post, then rewrite my post. The spacing changes, the language is more professional, and it's easier to read through. My impressions did go up this week after using, no images needed. I'm really surprised, actually. I wanted to share it with you guys if you want to try it out. I hope you get similar results!
My 1st live interview on Linkedin
Hello lovely people, As I mentioned during our Anti-Mastermind last week, I’ve been invited to a live LinkedIn interview tomorrow. It’s my first one ever, so I’m a mix of excited and slightly nervous. But more than anything, I wanted to share it here because it feels like a meaningful step in breaking my old “invisibility” pattern. No expectations, no need to attend.Just celebrating the inner shift of saying yes to something I used to hide from. Thanks for being a space where these small-but-big moments can be shared. With Love and Gratitude, Fadila https://www.linkedin.com/posts/colin-parsons-5a9aaa20_identity-belonging-and-the-courage-to-transform-ugcPost-7401666531341840384-Hz9k?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop&rcm=ACoAAB5r3KoBgkIxMhYuBNdmzUy3uIyvgJfgbF4
I'm on PodMatch (and Why You Should Be Too!)
Today is my parents' 35th wedding anniversary. And to celebrate, I joined PodMatch yesterday.😄 Seriously, though, I did end up joining at least for the month because I like being on podcasts and I don't have enough money to advertise myself outside of posts and DMs. So what is PodMatch? It's a website where podcast hosts and guests can meet each other rather than having to sift through social media to find the right candidates. It's something I've been eyeing and I realized yesterday that since I don't have money for expensive online ads, this is my adspend. Making connections with podcasters, getting my name out there, and growing my reputation/network. If you're comfortable with being interviewed (they also have audio-only options), it's a great place to connect. They set it up really well! I've actually been on multiple podcasts so the experience is certainly beneficial for me getting more opportunities. And it really depends on a great profile. I already have had two podcasters reach out to me. Here's my profile if you want to check it out: https://podmatch.com/guestdetailpreview/1759681611244195575ac0ea2 If you like podcasts or you're like me and enjoy being the center of attention, then check it out! You may get a bigger audience and more leads. You never know!
