Hey guys, There is a lot to be said about the algo killing reach lately. My traffic light post from yesterday, image 1, which was repurposed the last 2 summers and got +100 engagements both times, is stuck on 20 engagements/200 impressions. I had an offer at the end with an invite to next week's workshop (zero takers from the content until now, keep reading) It's also been reported that when your posts are performing decently, they'll get pushed in front of your potential customers more. You can see below, one of my stories from last week did the work, and a potential client then read my post yesterday and reached out about my upcoming workshop. Also, the week before this, my proof post got pushed in front of a potential client. He reached out, and now it looks like we're going to work together. So I'd encourage everyone here to definitely be more targeted with your content, even if engagement suffers.. You can tell top-of-funnel stories like I did in image 2, just tie it back to your dream client and the offer you have as much as possible. Let the algo work in your favour. I'm posting this because I know there's a lot of concern about low reach lately, but I'm definitely seeing an uptick in the right kind of followers, more inbound requests in the last few weeks (even with lower reach overall). Sticking to the content rhythm of problem, perspective and proof. And creating more incidents for potential buyers (Phase 1 of the IMPACT Cycle). Hit your problem, perspective and proof posts weekly if possible. Tell more top-of-funnel stories and frame them around your buyers. And let's see if the algo plays nicely for you too. ~Kev
