6-Week Summer Sprint Details ☀️
Hey everyone, Our six-week sprint, Summer Isn't Slow, officially kicks off this Wednesday, July 15th at 3pm CET. I'm pumped to work with you towards our goal: 3 higher-paying clients in the next 6 weeks. The core coaching call will happen at the same time every Wednesday through July & August. This is the main weekly session, where we’ll work through the program, solve problems, review your progress and make sure you know your right next move. Core Coaching Calls 🙋🏽‍♂️🙋🏽‍♀️ Every Wednesday at 3pm CET. Starting Wednesday, July 15th. You can add them to your calendar by clicking the link above. Live Builder Sprint — optional but recommended Every Tuesday at 2pm CET A focused co-working session to help you complete one important money-making move live. This is not a Q&A call, but if you're stuck I will support you before you work on your task. Then we debrief together about the 45-minute block. The big idea is getting you focused on the right actions that bring you closer to clients, and having the collective accountability to do it live so you build better habits. Q&A Calls — recommended Typically, these happen every second Friday at 2pm CET, and you can ask me anything, get support where you need it most, and keep tabs on progress. We’ll make a slight adjustment for July: - Friday, July 17th - Friday, July 24th We’ll run these on consecutive Fridays because I’ll be away at a wedding the following weekend. All session links, recordings and updates will be kept inside the community, so this is the main place to check throughout the sprint. For new members 👋 You’ve already received an email from me with your individual next steps.
📣 Language coaches! How do you measure and show client progress?
I’d love to hear how other language coaches make progress visible for their clients. A relatively new client recently told me that being able to clearly see and track their progress is really important for their motivation—which makes complete sense. Until now, I’ve mainly documented progress through feedback emails after our sessions (sentence corrections, vocabulary, recurring patterns, etc.). But this client doesn’t really have time to read detailed emails, and the format doesn’t necessarily help them see how they’re developing over time. So I’m curious: How do you measure progress, especially in one-to-one coaching focused on professional communication rather than moving through traditional language levels? Do you use regular assessments, self-reflection, recordings, specific communication goals, or something else? I’d especially love to hear about approaches that are simple for the client to follow and don’t create a huge amount of extra admin for the coach 🙃. Thank you! 🫶
Linkedin isn't working
I've been trying to update my LinkedIn bio for the past few days, but every single attempt results in the same message: "Something went wrong. Please try again later." I've tried everything I can think of: Updating it from both my phone and my laptop. Clearing my cache. Checking and changing my profile visibility settings. Logging out and back in. Following all the troubleshooting steps suggested. I even contacted the support chat, and after going through all the troubleshooting, I was told that I've already tried everything possible and that it may simply be an issue on LinkedIn's side. How can I update my bio if every attempt fails? Is this a known issue, and is there anything else I can do besides waiting? I'd really appreciate any guidance. Thank you!
⚡ This Week’s Challenge: Run a Time & Energy Audit
Hey Builders, We discussed this in Friday's Q&A, and I’d love you to test it this week. The goal is simple: observe how you actually work. Use your calendar, a Google Doc or pen and paper to track your main work blocks: - What did you plan to do? - How long did you block? - What did you actually complete? - How did your energy feel that day? - How productive did you feel? This will help you spot: - Tasks that take longer than expected - Where you’re dabbling or switching too much - Which activities give you energy - Which activities drain you - What is actually moving you closer to calls, clients and your wider goals I’ve attached a simple Minimum Viable Time & Energy Audit resource for you to follow. Don’t overcomplicate it with spreadsheets. Just track the week honestly. This is optional, but you know I like to reward effort. So if you send me your completed audit by Monday, August 3rd, I’ll: - Review your week to spot what you did well and what to improve - Give you 3 practical wins (tools or tactics) to simplify your workflows - Send you a prompt that turns this week’s evidence into next week’s plan of action That way, your tasks move your projects forward, your projects support your milestones, and your milestones bring you closer to your goals of getting clients! Post a GIF below if you’re committing to it. Or ask a question if you're still unsure about how to do it (after reading the resource). ~Kev
Better late.. :)
Hi everyone! 👋 I'm really happy to be part of this community. I run an online English language school where we help Italian professionals move from knowing English to actually using it with confidence at work—whether that's in meetings, presentations, interviews, or everyday conversations. I believe language learning should be practical, enjoyable, and focused on real-life communication rather than just grammar rules. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all, learning from your experiences, and contributing wherever I can. How has your Summer push been so far? 😊
