Just a little update from me 💛
I’ll be popping in less over the next six weeks as I prepare for my lower back surgery in early May and then take the time needed to recover well afterward. I’m also working hard to get several new recordings uploaded to my new YouTube audio reading channel before surgery, so my days are a little fuller than usual right now. Don’t worry—I’m not disappearing, just stepping back a little for a season. Please keep the community active, warm, and encouraging while I’m quieter here. Support each other, share your projects, celebrate progress, and keep the good spirit going during the days I’m absent. Don't forget to check out what's available in the Classroom. There is no shortage of projects to get involved in, so stay creative.

(UPDATE) Introducing My New YouTube Channel: The Library of Easy Listening
If there is a particular classic novel that is in the public domain that you would like me to record, please leave your suggestions in the comments below. So many people have kindly told me over the years that I have an easy voice to listen to… and that I ought to record audiobooks someday. Well, I finally decided to take their advice — and that has led me to a brand new adventure. Welcome to The Library of Easy Listening — a cozy place where stories come alive through gentle, relaxing narration. I’ll be sharing my own original writing, along with many beloved classic works that deserve to be enjoyed again and again. https://www.youtube.com/@TheLibraryofEasyListening Whether you’re winding down after a long day, relaxing with a cup of tea, crafting, or simply needing a peaceful moment, I hope this little library becomes a comforting space for you. Come visit, have a listen, and if you enjoy it, I’d love for you to leave a comment, subscribe, and join me on this journey.

Let Me Introduce Me to You...
For all our New and Older members with whom I may not have had the pleasure of conversing or working directly with, as of yet. I’m Lynda, and at 80 years old, creativity has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I began crafting and sewing at the age of 10, when my father taught me embroidery. He had learned it from his own mother when he was a young boy, so the love of making has been passed down through generations in my family. Over the years, I’ve explored many kinds of traditional stitching, sewing, and crafting, but eventually found my true passion in fiber art, designing with scraps, and creating beauty from what others might overlook. I love the process of reimagining materials and giving them new life through upcycling and thoughtful design. I’m also the author of five published works and the creator behind Worn with Charm Studio on Etsy, my YouTube channel @IckyChicDesigns, and Instagram - lyndacoker_ What matters most to me is the freedom to create in my own style—to fully be myself, and to do that very well. I believe creativity has no age limit, and there is always something beautiful waiting to be made. And to take the time to share my passion and lessons learned while there is still time. Thank you for helping me to do that here...
Thank you Lynda
I had a lovely surprise when I popped back to the uk this week. So of course I got busy. This is what my creation looks like so far. Might need leaves or something to balance it. What do you all think? I added leaves and some stitching for bark and feathers.
Thank you Lynda
