Create Your Own Fabric with Scraps
Gather all the scraps you have that fit the theme, mood, color or textures you want and piece them together until you get the amount of fabric you need. Obviously, this works best for small projects like purses, totes, pillow cover, embellishments, etc.

Im not that good at sewing small pieces together unless i use some tulle to hold them, but then i dont like the tulle over it. My latest project is slow seeing over the pieces and then cutting out the tulle and see how it will look. Just trying to find a few minutes of down time to work on it

Playing With Fusible Web Scraps
Scraps left over from fusible web projects can be an inspiration. You can add some decorative elements, embroidery stitches, buttons, charms, etc.

Ahh, right! Fusible web is perfect for holding those small pcs together and in place before sewing them on. And you’re right Lynda , it will not hild them forever, just long enough to do somwthing more permanent

Big Reveal - Stitch journaling sampler
Not for those of a delicate constitution!!! So here is my journal sampler for April - some motifs are great (in my eyes) and some are ….??? Interesting! I have zoomed in on my … red squirrel.. of course (OMG he’s demented)

A walk in the park…
The recycling plant doesn’t take bedding, so we’re looking at other things to make from the linen received. A bag is made using a pillowcase, child’s hoodie hat, and an appropriate T-shirt print….
