What’s your go to mainline
What’s your go to line/braid, for me it’s OGX in 15lb &18lb for weed. Do you also think line colour makes a difference ?

Chair, small, comfortable, doesn't break the bank!!
Since my resident, non-rent paying mice 🐭 have utterly destroyed my Trakker Levelite chair, I'm asking Santa for a new one...I had a quick look at the Solar C-Spec Sofa Chair, because my bed-chair is absolutely awesome, but I'm not sure Santa's budget will stretch to one 🤣 any good recommendations? I'm actually not adverse to seeing if I can pick something up on Marketplace (I do love a Marketplace bargain!).

Getting ready for Winter….🥶❄️
I don’t mind admitting that being cold makes me extremely grumpy!!! My Mum has knitted me several pairs of woollen socks, nice and loose, perfect for an additional layer around my feet. I find it’s such a fine balance between enough layers but also ensure nothing is too tight/cutting off circulation. What are folks top tips for being absolutely comfortable on the bank during the colder months? I want to watch the water like a hawk, yet every ounce of my being wants to be snuggled in my bedchair! Especially in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 😂😂
REELS!!! Who's using what?? And why???
Darrell Peck has announced he is now using Shimano reels after many years with Daiwa! I'm 100% a Shimano girl as well, and have been for a lot of years, prior to that it was Mitchell Garcia 320s (I think...if my memory serves me correctly! I gave them away to an elderly neighbour who had decided to start fishing in his retirement!). I actually tried a Daiwa at a carp show a few years back and the line kept repeatedly getting stuck under the spool, it put me right off!! Although on reflection I realise it was probably user error and had been over-spooled!! (not by me I will add! 🤣).
Pecky Announces the new CARP PORTER!!
Carp Porters! Who’s got one and if you haven’t, are you rushing out to buy one? I personally don’t own one…would I like to? Yeah maybe. I’m kind of on the fence… Pros - get on the fish quicker by being able to move your kit with ease, excellent for lesser abled anglers! Cons - initial outlay 🤑💰, use it or lose it (I want to maintain a level of strength and fitness to ensure many more years of being fit enough to be on the bank).
