REELS!!! Who's using what?? And why???
Darrell Peck has announced he is now using Shimano reels after many years with Daiwa!
I'm 100% a Shimano girl as well, and have been for a lot of years, prior to that it was Mitchell Garcia 320s (I think...if my memory serves me correctly! I gave them away to an elderly neighbour who had decided to start fishing in his retirement!).
I actually tried a Daiwa at a carp show a few years back and the line kept repeatedly getting stuck under the spool, it put me right off!! Although on reflection I realise it was probably user error and had been over-spooled!! (not by me I will add! 🤣).
