👋 START HERE: Welcome to The Balance Blueprint 💙
Welcome! I’m Dr. Aliah Pulaski, PT, DPT. If you found your way here, chances are you’re dealing with dizziness, imbalance, motion sensitivity, or symptoms you haven’t been able to make sense of yet. You may have already watched hours of videos, tried different exercises, seen multiple providers, or simply been wondering: “Where do I even start?” That’s exactly what we want to help you figure out. And the good news is that everything in your Start Here Assessment is completely free. STEP 1 — Start With Your Introduction Go to the Classroom → Start Here and begin with the short Introduction video. I’ll explain how this process works, what we’re looking for, and how to get the most out of your assessment. Then move through the next three classes in order. 1️⃣ Introduction Learn what we’re doing and why we always start with assessment. 2️⃣ Dizziness & Balance Assessment Complete the guided screening and record your results on your scorecard. 3️⃣ Read Your Results Use your results to better understand where you struggled and what those findings may be telling you. 4️⃣ What’s Next? Once you understand your results, we’ll show you the different paths you can take from here — including how to speak with our team if you want individualized help. STEP 2 — Introduce Yourself 👋 While you’re working through your assessment, introduce yourself below. Tell us: 1. Your name and where you’re from 2. Your diagnosis, if you have one — or how you would describe your symptoms 3. The #1 thing dizziness or imbalance is stopping you from doing 4. The one thing you would LOVE to get back to Then find one other person in the comments and give them a little encouragement. One of the biggest reasons this community exists is so people dealing with dizziness can realize: “Wow. Other people actually understand what this feels like.” STEP 3 — Decide What Kind of Help You Need After completing all four classes, you have a decision to make. For some people, the assessment, education, and this community may be exactly what they need right now.
Vestibular/PPPD neck issues
I have had Vestibular & PPPD issues for about 18 months (diagnosed), I also have a stiff neck some pain 24/7 seems to never go away some days are easier than others. Could my issues be coming from my neck my head is never clear like an unbalanced feeling also other things like sun light, supermarket isles & busy place can affect me..anyone have any idea. Went to see a Chiropractor but did not help!!
Vision
Dr. Pulaski, You asked about my vision, which has since gotten worse. I have an ophthalmologist appointment for Monday. This note is to thank you for bringing up the topic. This might have dragged on harmfully had you not asked. Alan
Drunk walking
What is a vestibular migraine? About the time that this started I started feeling drunk most of the time, especially outside after dark. I go new pairs of glasses but they didn’t solve it. Hmmmm
Huh
