Hello!
I’m Taija. I’m a Division I soccer athlete transferring to the University of Tulsa after spending three years at the University of Montana. I was part of a program that competed at a high level, which taught me a lot about pressure, leadership, and growth. I’m also studying Psychology, so I’m especially interested in the mental side of being an athlete.
Growing up, I moved every six months, which taught me how to adapt and stay grounded through change. Between that and competing at the D1 level, I’ve learned how important the mental side of sport really is.
This community is for athletes (and the parents who support them) who want to build confidence, resilience, and the mental edge that shows up under pressure.
Most examples and experiences I share come from soccer, but the mindset, tools, and conversations apply across sports and levels.
We’ll talk honestly about confidence, pressure, stress, growth, and the mental side of competition. I’ll also share mental tools, routines, drills, and things that have helped me as an athlete.
There are multiple tabs in this community for mindset, recruiting, and resources. All of them are open for discussion, so feel free to jump into conversations or just read along.
This isn’t about having everything figured out. It’s about learning, showing up, and getting better over time! On and off the field.
If you’re comfortable, introduce yourself below:
