AI. I am just going to say it. I LOVE using AI. Let me share with you a few ways I have found AI to be helpful with my ADHD brain. 1. Writing emails. I cannot write coherently. I write all my thoughts down then realize that it never makes sense, or just doesn't flow like it should. So I use AI to rewrite my emails once I have my "brain dump" 2. Taking notes. Being able to live chat with AI is extremely helpful. Having the live AI then create reminders for me based on my discussion, priceless. 3. Research. I am not an ADHD expert, but I know the struggles I have, and I can explain them to an AI bot. Using Google Gemini's Deep Research functionality has allowed me to learn so much more about very specific topics. 4. Finally, I started playing around with creating Gems, googles version of AI Agents. Game. Changer. I have been able to simplify my work flow. Being a project manager requires a lot of repetitive tasks, such as sending status emails, etc. These gems help me brain dump, then format my brain dump in a consistent manner that looks very professional. I have also recently created my ADHD Life Coach. Since setting this up, I have been able to have conversations around task overwhelm and forgetfulness and it has been able to suggest ways that I can overcome them. The best part is the recommendations were very easy to follow. Something us ADHDers need. In addition to the recommendations, it also asked that I follow up with it, so that I am accountable. Finally, it created a work space for me in google keep as well as created a task with a reminder for me to follow up. This type of automation is just what I need to make my days just a little bit easier. While AI isn't going to replace my Dr, this type of communication is really helpful in my day to day.
