Add one honest disqualification before the pitch
Before you pitch an affiliate offer, write one honest disqualification.
Most promos try to make the product sound right for everyone. That usually weakens trust.
A better move is to say who should not buy first.
Try this:
1. Open the offer page.
2. Write down the main promise in plain English.
3. List three people who would be a bad fit.
4. Pick the one disqualification that is both true and useful.
5. Put it before the recommendation.
Examples:
- "Skip this if you do not already have traffic."
- "This is not for someone who wants a done-for-you setup."
- "Do not buy this if you are looking for beginner theory instead of templates."
- "This only makes sense if you will actually implement during the next week."
Then write the pitch for the person who remains.
Simple promo structure:
- who should skip it
- who it is actually for
- the one problem it solves
- the part of the offer page to inspect after they click
- why your bonus helps with the first step
This makes the click cleaner. You may get fewer curiosity clicks, but the people who do click usually understand the fit better.
