🏳️🌈 This Week in the LGBTQ Success Syndicate Your Weekly Update:
Welcome to February Success Syndicate Fam,
It’s your weekend Newsletter and I hope you all had a great week. A little quiet this week here in the Syndicate, but we are all busy running our business, hopefully instead of our business running us. We have passed 60 members which is AMAZING, I hope you all are getting something out of this. Here’s things I wanted to say this week. If YOU ever want to add anything to our weekly member newsletter, reach out over DM or email to me at scott@leftofstr8.com 🌍 LGBTQ News Round-Up (by Region)
🇺🇸 United States• Record representation in sports: At least 41 out LGBTQ athletes are set to compete in the 2026 Milan Winter Olympics, the most ever out queer athletes at a single Games. • New gaming inclusion milestone: A major Nintendo game now lets players create characters that are gay, bi, ace & nonbinary, sparking discussion about representation in global media.
🇬🇧 United Kingdom• New Procurement Opportunities: The UK Procurement Act 2023, which took effect in early 2025, is opening new doors for LGBTQ+-owned businesses to compete for public sector contracts..
🇦🇺 Australia• Leadership & Recognition: Paul Zahra was appointed Patron of Pride in Diversity in May 2025. Eric Kuhlmann was named the first inductee to the 2026 South Australian Pride Hall of Fame.
🌍 Africa• Even without new laws, current anti-LGBTQ+ discrimination is estimated to cost Kenya between $360 million and $1.5 billion annually due to reduced productivity, lost foreign investment, and, in some cases, decreased tourism.

🛍️ Merch Coming Soon: Member Input Wanted!
You asked for it, You got it. We're launching Success Syndicate merchandise for members!
- I plan to charge only cost + shipping + $1 per item to help cover maintenance and admin costs. I have put some examples down below of designs, but if any of you are graphic artists and have ideas, send them and we will add them to our collection.
- Before we move forward, I’d LOVE your advice: Where should we host and sell the merch? Options might include platforms like Printful, Teespring, Bonfire, etc. Do any members have merchandise on a site they like? What do YOU think would be easiest, most cost-effective, and member-friendly?
Reply in the group with your suggestions, your feedback will shape our Syndicate store!
