Guest Expert Replay
I watched the replay with Steve and how/why he set up Tough to Talk. Very insightful and informative and the work is so vital. Question for Steve: do you run training for smaller companies who do not have HR departments? For example, in construction, groups of site managers/owners of small businesses (a handful of employees) via group online training or something like that?
Introduction Post - Hello Everyone 👋
Hi everyone. I'm Sam and I'm a LinkedIn and Sales Navigator expert. I recently met @Matt Clutterham at an event in Sutton Coalfield and we instantly connected because we found we have so many things in common. For example I'm also from Derby. We also grew up around the Brighton area and we have a common interest in helping business owners to get more results. Outside of work I'm a Mum to three neurodivergent teenagers and I'm also a breast cancer survivor. I am an advocate for breast cancer awareness, an ambassador for Cancer Support UK and I also raise funds for Cancer Research UK 💖 I'm super excited to get to know everyone and I look forward to being an active member of this community. If you have any questions about LinkedIn then I'm more than happy to answer them. I look forward to making great connections, building good relationships here, and being a part of this amazing community.
Introduction Post - Hello Everyone 👋
Introduction :-)
Hi, I have had the pleasure of working with and having been supported by @Matt Clutterham & @Jenny Jarvis over the last 12 months. I have just tipped the 3 years mark on running my business and developing scale, breadth and depth is my main business focus at the moment. Looking forward to collaborating with this group.

Comfort Zone
I'm really being pushed out of my comfort zone this week. It's been so interesting to notice what happened to my body. I started to feel dizzy, my tummy got very upset and I felt awful. Because of my knowledge, I understand it's a protective response from my body, but it doesn't feel good. It actually feels silly because I know all the logic. It just goes to show that subconscious conditioning trumps logic every time. I could decide not to do the task. What would that say about me when I get my clients to step out of their zones all the time? But I did have to break my initial goal down into something smaller. Because otherwise I wasn't going to achieve anything at all. I also did some tapping to help regulate my nervous system. Just because our body responds in a way that feels bad, doesn't mean we should always listen. It may think it is protecting us from a tiger when the reality is it's just a friendly dog.
