Paralysed by FEAR?
Have you ever wanted to walk away from a job, but stayed because you were fearful of the financial repercussions?
Jesus and I chat here about my former job where after receiving multiple pay rises, I felt reluctant to leave. The financial security felt good, but I didn’t agree with decisions I was expected to support, and felt lots of internal conflict.
The decision of whether to stay or go, whether to keep quiet and deal with it, or take action and leave that environment, can be really scary. Personally, if I don’t flex that ‘muscle’ of taking action when needed, I forget how capable I am of standing up for what I believe in.
