📌 START HERE — Welcome to StrongDads
Welcome to the brotherhood. If you're reading this, you've just made a decision that a lot of dads never make — you've decided to invest in yourself. That matters more than you know. Here's everything you need to get started, in the right order: STEP 1 — Download the Skool App Search "Skool" on the App Store or Google Play. Turn on push notifications so you never miss a daily lesson or a reply from a brother. STEP 2 — Watch the Orientation Video Head to the Classroom → "Start Here" section. Watch the Welcome to StrongDads video first. It's 15 minutes and it'll show you exactly how this community is structured, what's available to you, and what your journey looks like from here. STEP 3 — Introduce Yourself Go to the introduction post and post a quick intro - you can find it below or in the Classroom > Start Here. Your name, where you're from, how many kids, and one thing you want to change. That's it. The guys here will welcome you — this is a good group of men. STEP 4 — Start the 30-Day Kickstart Challenge Go to Classroom → Kickstart Challenge → Day 1. This is where your journey begins. One lesson a day, 15–20 minutes, for 30 days. It will change you if you let it. STEP 5 — Bookmark Your Dashboard Your personal Notion dashboard is pinned in the resources section. It's your training tracker, habit log, and weekly planner — all in one place, built for busy dads. The Four Pillars of StrongDads: 🔥 FORGE — Your body. Training, nutrition, sleep, energy. 🛡️ SHIELD — Your mind. Mental health, resilience, stress, identity. 🤝 BROTHERHOOD — Your community. Connection, accountability, real relationships. 🏛️ LEGACY — Your fatherhood. Vision, presence, discipline, the man you're becoming. Everything in this community lives under one of these four pillars. Every lesson, every post, every live call. Community Rules (short version): This is a space for real men doing real work. We don't tolerate negativity, judgment, or any form of disrespect. We do expect honesty, effort, and showing up for each other.

👋 Welcome Brother - Introduce Yourself
Welcome to StrongDads. You have just joined a community of fathers who have made a decision that most men never make — to stop running on empty and start building themselves back up. Whether you are a new dad finding your feet, an experienced father who has let himself go a bit, or a veteran trying to figure out who you are now that the uniform is off — you are in the right place. To get started, drop a comment below using this template. Copy it, paste it, and fill in the blanks. Do not overthink it. Name: Where are you based? How many kids do you have (and ages)? Military background? (Yes / No — Branch if applicable): Your #1 goal for the next 90 days: One thing you are currently struggling with: I will go first in the comments. See you down there.
Eating Windows for Greater Healthspan
Eating in an 8–12 hour window could actually add years to your life — and not just in some lab mice, but in real men. A new study out of UT Southwestern Medical Center, published in Nature Aging (June 25, 2026), found that guys sticking to this kind of eating schedule lived about 12% longer. Here’s the kicker: it’s not about what you eat, but when you eat. The lead researcher suggests aiming for a 12-hour window starting in the morning. So, breakfast at 7, dinner by 7, for example. Keep it aligned with your natural waking hours. No crazy diets or skipping meals — just practical timing. Why should this matter to us? Because let’s be honest, between work, the kids, and trying to stay on top of everything, energy is king. Eating this way can slow fat gain and delay age-related health issues — which means more stamina for the daily grind, and hopefully a better body composition without extra hassle. This isn’t about being perfect. It’s about small, doable tweaks that fit around your life and help you stick around longer for what matters. Have you ever tried limiting your eating window? What’s the longest stretch you’ve gone without snacking, and did it change how you felt during the day? Here’s the full study if you want to dive in: https://www.utsouthwestern.edu/newsroom/articles/year-2026/june-health-eat.html

Eating Windows for Greater Healthspan
The Anger You Inherited
https://open.spotify.com/episode/7Ha3v307irhKfBb1hDyOed?si=PsR7okG-TR-Wm4pQDmSirA It happens in a split second. You're tired, the kids are relentless, something small snaps - and you hear your father's voice coming out of your own mouth. In this episode, we go somewhere uncomfortable: the anger you didn't choose but inherited. And why the fact that you noticed it is not failure. It's the beginning of everything.
