Opinion, how many security cameras needed?

Answer: 'It depends' lol.

It depends on how good or bad of an area it is.If I had to rate it,

I'd say it's an 'okay' area. It's in the good part of town according to the police station, but there are still a couple bullet holes, and of course, damage to the buildings. The BOTG said they don't have many break ins at all but there was one where they had a few cameras in place but didn't have them hooked up! so they couldn't provide any footage.

The camera specialist asked me how thorough of camera coverage I'd like at the facilities. He can quote me different scenarios depending how much coverage I would like.

Can you share your thoughts on whether you'd be as thorough as scenario A or if you can get away with scenario B on the attached photo?

It's comparing whether to oversee each aisle or mainly just the perimeter and entrance/exit.
