Little PSA for your sanity 👇 One of the first things I do with every new Skool I join is go in and switch the notifications off. Not because I don’t care, because I do … but just because the default Skool setting is to have pretty much 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻, and honestly, 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴! Your inbox fills up every time someone posts, comments or likes something, and if you’re in a few communities, it gets ridiculous fast. You absolutely do not have to turn them off.But if you want room to focus and get on with what actually matters, you probably don’t want your email dinging every five minutes just because this place is active. Skool didn’t really account for a community like ours; a bunch of people who genuinely want to chat, get to know each other, and help in a more old‑fashioned, authentic way… not the new “numbers game” approach where you are just a number on a spreadsheet. You can always turn things back on later or keep just the important stuff (like event reminders) if that works better for you. I’d much rather you choose when you come in here, on your own terms, than feel dragged around by your inbox.
