My biggest TAKE-AWAY from "๐ŸŽGift #1"
Selling is Serving.
This was one of the biggest shifts that I got from learning from and Michael Oliver and also Ajit Nawalka about selling as a Coach.
That understanding that if we are able to sell from a place of deep care for the potential client/customers contentment, only then do we serve them powerfully.
(and it dawned on me that I have been doing that my entire life in retail)
SERVICE
EMPATHY
RELATIONSHIP
VULNERABITY
ENLIGHTENED
DETACHMENT
I love to look at the SERVE-METHOD in reverse as follows:
You S.E.R.V.E.D someone powerfully, when you enter a sales conversation with full DETACHMENT to the outcome, or more so, (the ENLIGHTENED way) have the outcome in mind that will benefit the clients needs the most.
This requires VULNERABILITY, to be willing to let this particular sale go, for the sake of the clients current need.
This is what might not "close the deal", but open a "meaningful, trustfilled RELATIONSHIP between both parties, and thus opens possibilities beyond imagination for the future".
The secret sauce here is EMPATHY and curiosity and the willingness to learn what they actually need.
And last but not least SERVING them the most fitting product on your shelf for them, or draft one on the spot for custom pieces.
Maybe you also know that you'r product right now, might not actually be what they really need, then the most SOULFUL thing you can do in that moment is to refer and connect them with someone you know has what they need!
No fear.
No greed.
No attachment.
Selling is coaching.
Selling is helping the client and yourself understand what it is they're actually looking for,
then establish, if that is really what they need given the desired outcome they are looking for.
Selling is giving the client the chance of knowing what you have to offer, what's on your shelves that might fit their needs.
Selling is also to let your client know what else is out there that might be of even better fit for his specific need for this specific project in time.
Selling is NOT! closing
-> it's opening a relationship built on trust
Selling is NOT! making money
-> it's making a difference
Selling is NOT! defining your worth
-> it's defining theirs

WIN:
Last week I had 2 clarity calls and both of them said yes to 1 month and 3 months of working with me 1:1. I also had another connection call where I didn't sell a paid product, yet the woman was curious enough to say YES to try one of my free mini-courses (TESTER / Teaser for how I work), let's see what comes from there.
And this was purely through Soulful Selling.

ASK:
One thing that hugely helped me and that I would like to pick up again is to "train" and practice Soulful Selling, so if you are looking for a sparing buddy / practice partner comment or DM me.
