Hi Shelly, I’m just wondering if you have any tips or extra tutorials regarding needle felting the lips of the doll at all? I really struggle with it so much despite many many hours of practice lol. Thankyou x x

Hi Shelly and everyone. This doll have taken a while to come through because there was so much intention needed for her. She represents me in a way, she has silk around her heart space representing healing energy and earth. Her hair is long, her markings are a spiral and her medicine bundle is elder flower. I do struggle with arms as I make them to thick, I also struggle with faces and continue to watch Shelly’s videos over and over. But overall I’m so happy with her. Most importantly this is how the spirit of the doll wanted to come through. Thankyou Shelly for your teachings, they’ve been so great to learn from.

Hello there Shelly, I have finally finished the amazing tutorials you have so kindly put together for this group to teach us how to make our Soul Dolls. I am fascinated by the way you work with your dolls, it's like a trance that I can't look away from, the passion in your work shines through with your creativity. I am so grateful for this offering, thank you. I do have a couple of questions please. Firsty in your video labelled "Adding Your Soul Doll's Hair & Eyes", at the end you state that in the next video you will discuss and show how to detail the hair more and connect it to the head. However there is no video that I can see following this to show how to do this, I was wondering if we are able to access this anywhere at all please? I also wondered what wool you use for hair please and if you have any suggestions on what wool you like to work with including curly and straight please. I have tried a couple of different blends for hair but find it my biggest struggle. I found it most helpful with your videos on how to do the face, I have completed another doll course where the detail was no where near as in depth and your tutorial has helped immensely with shaping & sculpting !! While going back through my posts I came across a beautiful conversation you had shelly about solor plexis and inner child . The conversation to connect with my inner child took place and as i connected the feelings that rose from the depts of my stomach my soul was a shaky sick repressed inner child. My whole body started to shake and a trip to the bathroom to let go of this feeling manifesting in my physical body. It shook and I heaved , my stomach expelling this energy that had be dormant waiting for a place a safe place to release.. what dose my inner xhild need .. a sage place to call home to be in a safe place 🙏 so the awareness for now as I wrap myself in a blanket is to give her myself that place .. i ee you , i feel you come dance come sing come play , yes play ,all you need to be is the child 🎶 speak now i am listening i feel you . I will hold you , no need to be afraid or scared, but you express that feeling its yours to feel.. so is love so is joy so is dreaming so is laughter so is excitement so me all of you and I will hold you..xx 🔥
